Voice Mail
There is a "Review" posted today with a negative comment concerning accessing Voice Mail and the Action Key Menu which covers the Keypad after accessing Voice Mail.
I hope I understood the author's post correctly.
I agree that the Action Key Menu covering the Keypad presents difficulty entering the required password to access Voice Mail.
Here is what I did which does NOT require me to enter the Voice Mail Password. The Password is entered automatically for me.
Locate the Speed Dial List and highlight Speed Dial #1 which contains *86 which is the Voice Mail Access number.
Select "Menu" and then select "Edit" to edit the entry at Speed Dial #1. Add to the *86 this:
ppxxxxp#
The xxxx is your password to access Voice Mail. p's are...

After re-reading the "Review" about the Omnia Voice Mail, I believe I understand better what the poster commented on.
I am sorry I did not understand completely before I posted.
It seems that it is more than the Action Key Menu covering the Keypad during the initial entry of the password. It's the Action Key Menu covering the Keypad during the entire operation of using Voice Mail.
That is the problem I believe the poster refers to!
That is not a problem to me but I can understand where it may be a problem for others.

The problem is greater than just accessing Verizon VM. It happens to me on EVERY call I make. I called Verizon technical support and had to unlock the action key 5 times before I could even get through to them. This is ridiculous. Tech support doesn't see where this is a problem. Their answer is that it's done to prevent accessing another program while on a call. I told them that accessing another program isn't the problem but accessing my office voice mail is!
