Samsung Omnia i910
software upgrade?
With onboard aGPS, ANY gps software should work with the Omnia (ie google maps); such is the case with the international versions of the Omnia. Verizon claims that they locked down aGPS because the avail 3rd party software does not meet their 'standards' (read, they want you pay the subscription fee even though they are providing virtually no service).

you can get select pricing and get the unlimited txt/messaging ect.
with the omnia you would also need some sort of data plan/agreement which will give you web/email ect.
If you price the select plan + data plan, it's about the same as a premium plan...
VZ nav would be another feature that could be added on for 9.99$/mo or 2.99$/24 hours.
omnia does not support mobile TV.
all can be configured at www.verizonwireless.com
hope that clear things up.
