im not sure what is going on with this omnia i have but everytime i look at my storage memory its less and less. im not downloading anything onto this phone at all.. its down to about 13.84 mb now..... does anyone have any idea whats wrong with it? the last time i did a hard reset and dont want that to happen again.... thanks for all your help!
...
are you deleting messages, emails, browser history, etc.? because that uses up memory quicker then you would think.

ok i did now i have 30 mb storage and 60mb program. is this more like it should be?

for free space? if so, i don't believe thats to bad, a brand new one out of the box has 53 storage and 67 program.

I had some severe memory problems, down to less than 1 mb and called customer service. In addition to what was advised above about removing email, and browser history, the biggest jump I got in memory was by removing the VZAppZone. Since they didn't list the Omnia, this didn't seem to be a big loss. That got me to 35 mb free. I still have to regularly clear up to keep enough free.

i just had exactly the same problem!! i had 0 memory left and the phone won't receive texts or phone calls... i deleted everything - emails, texts, i have no pics stored on the device, no music.... the only thing i installed is skype, but it's stored on my memory card....
i had to hard reset it for the second time this month... lost my calendar and notes.... and now it shows 50 mb.... why? how? where? i don't get it... why do i need the 8 gb storage and a 2 gb card then, if the phone does not have enough memory to work when i have nothing on it... does anybody know anything about it?

Just to repeat what I wrote above: I had some severe memory problems, down to less than 1 mb and called customer service. In addition to what was advised about removing email, and browser history, the biggest jump I got in memory was by removing the VZAppZone. You also need to check your visual voicemails depending on how you installed it.
