I am looking at getting the omnia and never had a smartphone before let alone a windows mobile phone. I was wondering if it is very user friendly and are there alot of applications for this phone. How would you rate this phone?

Well, I just purchased an Omnia. At first is feels VERY wierd. However, over a period of time, basically two days, I got the hang of it. At the moment i'm currently trying to remember where everything is at and personalizing the phone to where it'll appeal to me.

9/10!!! Love It!! If the pre-installed Opera browser suported Flash and if the device had more RAM then it would be a definite 10!! SO MANY 3rd party applications that can be installed on it too!!

were do you find these third party apps? btw what is this whole microsoft mobile marketplace? is this going to mean i will get more apps for this omnia?

go to 1800pocketpc.com and/or freewarepocketpc.net!! Awesome sites!! This is the greatest deviced ive owned with all the customizing ive done to it! Even got to make the scroll bar bigger so its more finger friendly! Changed my Dial pad so it looks a lot better and dont have to unlock my screen when in a call!!!
