It would have been a better idea to have this phone on Rev-A
I am looking forward to getting my hands on one in either case.

🤨
I wonder myself why they didn't go with a faster cellular data speed as well?
...
Well it's an improvement from the i7100(a very, very old Nextel BlackBerry).
...
Becuase Nextel doesnt have a faster data speed only sprint does and I'm sorry I know we joined together now but we are still not together (Nextel/Sprint)

just ordered mine.... I'm going to give it a shot, I'm coming back from the iPhone, because it was waaaaay to expensive service wise compared to the simply everything. I hope this phone is decent..

I agree they should of just made it a Powersource phone. I don't think powersource phones should just of been a stop gap, they should of kept the platform and just added 850 roaming. Qchat stinks and lacks the coverage of the iden network. This BB would of rock if they done so. I still like the phone!

You guys do realize that Nextel works on the iDen Network... a network designed for DC… not internet... hence why blackberry integrated wifi. If you want a Rev A phone it has to be CDMA, not iDen, and then your DC calls will only work in REV A coverage areas (SDC). It's one or the other... they are two different network protocols. This phone was designed and released to be an upgrade for the 7100i and be a NEXTEL blackberry, not a replacement for the 8330 Curve.

my point exactly ..(retracted my own post) ..
this would be my reply to the review of somebody claiming to be a sprint employee but only knows about the paper specs of the phone 🙄
this phone aint as good for internet as a sprint BB so don't expect too much...
but it is definetly a good replacement for the 7100i and gives people a chance to have access to both nextel PTT and their email service
