Ok I been searching for Java apps...there's a few things out there. Anyone know of any good sites. ALSO looking for a free GPS app....found a few...dowload & install them just find but it cannot set up to use the gps...im guessing at&t put some kind of lock on this where we can only use at&t/telenav navigator...any feedback?

hey im like you i dont like aat navigator. my opinion would be to do what i do. youse the browser and use google maps. the gps works for me

You might want to try amAzeGPS. As a signed application, you can use the Eternity's internal GPS. You will need to follow the simple and most current instructions on a rival forum - http://www.samsung-eternity.com/
Go to the Samsung Eternity Hacks & Tricks, find the thread titled AmazeGPS with no settings.bin hack and no deleting phonedb_data.00. You will need to have the tools described in this thread: How To Bypass Signing And Unlock Gps (Tk file explorer). These are earlier instructions and no longer accurate except for how to get the data cable, Tk file explorer, and the USB modem drivers from Samsung, along with New PC Studio also from Samsung.
