Samsung SCH-i600 / SP-i600
Worth $299?
I was at a Circuit City Express here in Raleigh NC, and I saw that they had the i600 for $299 after $200 rebate with 2 year contract. I have been planning on getting the V710, but my contract ends the month and I have a feeling it won't be released in time. So I thought this would be nice alternative minus BT. Any suggestions?

I would say that is a pretty good deal. I am still awaiting delivery of my i600 from Verizon. Like most of the people here, I assume, I paid $499 with a 2-year contract. Is this deal with Verizon?
Overall I would say that is a good deal. Even the phones on eBay are going for close to $400 - sometimes more. After trying that route twice, and almost getting scammed both times (I suspected something was up and sure enough both sellers were scam artists), I decided to pay a little more and get it straight from VZW. Plus I can use the insurance program they offer if I need to. Peace of mind is worth the extra cost.
Anyway, I digress a little.... Yes, this seems to be a pretty nice deal. Good luck!
