BlackBerry Storm 9530

Look for a possible release date late in the last quarter. The new Storm will have virtually the same "foot print" as the current one. It will have WiFi, an slightly improved memory capacity, and some kind of improved invoking action to your selections. Sure tap will be replaced by a heptic touch, more responsive and accurate interface.

If Rim stays true to form, compare the "sameness" in design of their Bold, Curve, and Tour phones. Consequently. the Storm will not be the game breaker we're waiting for. It will still be near impossible to type on accurately, with a multitude of initial glitches awaiting an update.

They will, one day, design a phone with a hard full length qwerty, attached by clamshell.

I was wrong about the sure tap system on the Storm 2. Its the same as the original! Some hardware modifications and memory increase, but aside from that, it should have a better OS. Aside from that, same ole, same ole.... 😕

Hawkeye, you know I was the one who camped out, signed in, fell asleep in the car and had them tapping on my window when they opened up. Yes I'm the Storm Survivor, and #1 masochist sicko, always complaining, coming close to thowing it into the wall a hundred times,but ultimately loving this phone! I will curse the need to re-install my thousand 3rd party apps, but will go through this exercise for the thrill of more frustration.

You remember my Splenda remedy for the click screen corners? I did not have problems with the edges (thin auto pinstripe tape).

The new power on click screen is probably to push out and do away with the Splenda wrapper!

I absolutely love my Original Storm so the Storm 2 is not all to be in a hurry to get. It's nice no doubt but I think with these phones it's all a matter if you want an all touch phone! Not all people can type with it. I have it down, the typing and there is no better screen than there is on the Storm either. So I think it's a matter of preference myself. Each of these phones are going to get better in time so I am not stressed...Just my little input........

go to crackberry, they had a youtube of the new storm nicknamed odin. for the most part looks and acts pretty close to the original i did however see the memory doubled and the design slightly different and when screen off screen dont click when it its on it clicks... they posted it a couple of days ago so you might have to skim back a couple of pages to find it.
