The shear technology makes this a cool phone BUT it would be 100X better if it didn't run Verizon's crippled UI

They also don't use verizon phones, so why should I tell them anything?
A lot of my customers like that they can upgrade their phone and navigate it quickly because the UI is similar. Yes, some people (myself included) would like more options, but that doesn't mean the UI is "Crippling" anything, or that it wasn't a smart business decision on verizon's part.
If a majority of verizon's customers prefer/are indifferent to Verizon's ui, there is no reason they should change it. This is currently the case. Those who don't like it.. there are smartphones and other carriers.

Good point.. I don't particularly like Verizon, BUT you can easily hop from phone to phone and use it's features.. Sadly, most of the world isn't like me, and don't mind the same menu system on their phone..

That is like saying a computer running windows 95 and one running Windows 7 is the same system because the interface is similar. You are ignoring the actual system itself. The UI is there to help you navigate around the phone, it is not everything that makes up the phone.

What exactly is "crippled" by the VZW UI?
If there are features "crippled" on this phone, it has NOTHING to do with the UI.
