Just ordered mine.
Called T-Mo today based on BGR post. They took my order without a hitch and said I should receive the phone next week. Will keep you guys posted on the progress.

Call 611 and the CSR should be able to upgrade you without any issues. Some people have been saying that not all CSR's will do it for you, so just keep trying. I got mine on the first try, some people have had to call 3-4 times to get a CSR who would do it for them.

🙂 I called and got a guy and paid my bill and asked if I was eligible for an upgrade and he said i sure was and placed my order for the 8900 with no problem at all 🙂 Thanks!

I was wondering i would be a new customer to tmobile. So if i started my service over the phone do you think i would have the chance of getting the 8900 early or is it just for renewals.

So far it's just for Handset Upgrades. I have a business account and even through that I wasn't able to activate a new line with the 8900 but was able to upgrade my existing line. I got mine today, loves it 😁

Can you tell me if the phone has a lanyard hole? I always wear my phone around my neck. Call it geek, or sheik.. but I've never dropped it.
