BlackBerry Curve 8900
Cant get it to ready my memory card
So i have a 8gb memory card and every time i put it in it says memory card inserted, but when i go to the memory amount it says 100.1mb and when i try to hit menu to format it nothing shows up.
Could someone help me out and let me know if i am doing something wrong.

I had the same problem with my bosses. When I tried a 4GB it worked just fine. When I got mine I used a 4GB to avoid the same problem, which again worked just fine.
I dont have a solution for you, just a alternative. The 4GB has worked on the 8 8900's ive sold so far. Good luck and please post the solution if you find it.

The solution is very simple.
Turn off the blackberry.
Remove the battery.
Install the 8mb card.
Install the battery.
Turn on the blackberry.
Presto.
Turn off the blackberry.
Remove the battery.
Install the 8mb card.
Install the battery.
Turn on the blackberry.
Presto.

You can actually use a 16 gig if needed. Just do what OlderGeek said & you will be fine. That's what I did........
