Deleting multiple messages on BlackBerry
I have seen many people complaining about not being able to delete multiple messages/call logs on BB's. 2 ways to do this:
1. Highlight the date bar in the folder and click menu, then delete prior. It will delete everything in that folder prior to that date,. or
2. Hold caps lock and highlight, click menu then delete messages.
Hope this helps clear up some of the 'cons' people are throwing out about the devices.

yeah i was reading the reviews wondering what everyone was talking about. i could delete multiple messages on my old curve (8310). i do it on the bold with no problems also. so just listen to this guy/gal!
the only thing i can think of is people selecting messages that aren't in a row, so the holding caps lock wouldnt work. but an idea i had is if the person wants to just delete messages from one person: use the search function, type in that person's name...and boom you'll see all the messages to/from them.
