What functions work without activation? (PDA)(6750)

What functions work on a Blackberry 6750 wihtout activation from a service provider? I am wondering mostly about the PDA functions, ofcourse. Can info (or applications) be loaded from the PC on to it without activation? Thanks for everyone's time!!
