LG enV3 VX-9200
T9 won't learn new words...
I use the outside of the phone for texting a lot since it's faster for me than using the keyboard, but for some reason T9 word won't learn new words... I've tried to teach it things like 'haha' but it just won't do it.
Am i missing something? 🤨

Try typing 'haha' in via ABC mode first and then send the msg. The next time you type 'haha' in via T9 it should remember the word. I just tried this on the enV Touch and it worked, hopefully it works the same for the enV 3.

I've had several LG phones before and other T9 phones. What has worked before is to select "ABC" and type the word (don't put the space after it yet) that you would like. then select T9 and press space. after that it should have it stored in for you to type.

🙂 Ok I have the EnV3 too and could not get it to work....I Did! When txting on the front screen change your Entry Mode (click options) to Abc then type in the word you and how you want it to look (captials etc.) but while doing this, do not backspace or space forward. When finished with your word change you Entry Mode back to T9 and it should type your new word! AHHHHH! I am so excited I finally got it to do it!

Does the enV3 remember the words after a period of time? I have the EnV Touch and it will remember the words you teach it for a couple hours, but then they seem to disappear from memory, very frustrating.

I CANNOT get it to work!!! Did exactly what you said - it won't learn!!! Also - how do you get the front screen to STAY on t9?? Stupid phone.

I have tried and tried to get it to work. It seems to learn it if repeated in the same message but then forgets it for the next message. Any help would be appreciated.
