Data Plan?
Verizon is officially crazy (as if they werent before).
There should be no mandatory data plan for anything - ok... PDAs fine, everyone's doing it - but for regular phones? that's absurd.
I've watched and wanted this phone for a while, glad its finally out - sorry that I will have to pass on it for the extra fee, ill stick with my enV touch.
Other carriers are doing it.
The phone is built for web browsing and messaging. In order to offer it for 100, verizon put the extra data requirement on it.
Why exactly would you want this phone without planning on using the data, especially considering you have the Touch?
I have been watching this on phonearena and glad it came out. I wonder if there are more examples than ONE. we are not talking about a texting plan, which I do not categorize as the same thing as a data plan. If we're running on that theory, why was the casio phone just released not required to have a pix/video plan? What else would we need a 5mp camera for?
I also was unable to see how this is more internet geared than the average phone that has just been released in that category. And lastly, my preferences on phones chance, and I enjoy going in and ...
