LG enV Touch VX-11000
may purchase EnvTouch..?s first
i wl be upgrading in nxt few wks. i was orig lookn at alias 2 & env3. with the new data plan required on most phones now, i decided to look @ othr fones. i'm now looking @ the EnvTouch & Samsung Rogue. the Rogue has a very nice screen resolution & seems to be a cool phone. of the two phones, i really love the way the EnvTouch feels esp on the qwerty & its a perfect size for me. here are just a cpl ?'s i have about the EnvTouch...& if anyone can answer these same ?s about the Rogue, plz feel free to let me know.
1) how easy is threaded messaging? this is a big thing for me to have on my nxt fone. i also want T9 to save made up words. can't seem to find a straight answer abt T9 for this phone.

Question 1 threaded messages works really good but as far as the phone remembering words that are not already in the phone it will for a day or so then it seems to forget.
Question 2 the volume depends on the ring tone that you select but none of them are real loud due to the speakers being on the inside of the phone.
Question 3 Yes the web is pretty good on the phone because it is in HTML and as far as sports updates you will have access to espn mvp which is very good for sports updates and it also has gamecast. And this is a free app.
Question 5 Yes there was a update put out about a month ago which allows you to use the speaker phone with the phone closed.
Overall this phone is really nice, it just really depends on what you will main...

For the T9 saving your words, that is kind of a bummer cuz they way I have to do it is to write the word without using the T9 and after using it around 3 or 4 times then it will save. But then sometimes it will save it only for like a day and then have to do that again. That kind of sucks.
As far as making the ringtone louder, the reason why it is so low is because the speakers are on the inside part of the phone where the QWERTY keyboard is. The online is ok. I don't know how it is suppose to look since this is the first time I actually use it, so I say it is good.
