HTC Touch Pro2 (CDMA)
First impressions....
I ordered my TP2 from VZW phone sales and received it on 9/15. I've been a long time Windows Mobile user, having had the Q, Q9m and Q9c. My Q9c has been an excellent phone for me, however I've had problems with dust under the screen lately. My 2yr renewal was up and I wanted a phone that offered more features and bigger screen, so TP2 fit perfectly.
As you may have read from others, I was surprised at the weight of the phone. It's very well constructed, which translates to very heavy. Not a deal breaker, but sure wish it was lighter. I feel like I'm carrying a compact digital camera in my pocket.

Couple of question for you. I am a current Iphone whore, but am getting feed up with the BS ATT network. Can you txt without opening the keyboard? How is the browser? Ok I guess that is all 🙂

I have an ipod touch and love it for music. I considered the iphone, however too happy with VZW service and wanted a physical keyboard.
You can text using the virtual keyboard - don't need to slide open the physical keyboard.
I haven't used the browser much. The times I have, it seemed to work well. I think I do prefer the iphone 'pinch' zoom capability.
Overall, the GUI isn't as refined as the iphone - hopefully 6.5 will help and make it more touch friendly.

Not out of the box. It requires other software. I'm not a Mac user, so it's never been of concern to me.

I just got this phone tonight. I never had a pda/winmo phone, upgrade from an enV. A little lost is an understatement.... lol. This will take me awhile to get use to.

Be patient. It will come. Having said that I may return mine. I can not practically retrieve voice mail. Every time I move the phone to my ear the phone goes to the main screen. As you know you need the keyboard to select options. Everytime you move the TP2 it (mine) goes back to the main screen. It is virtually impossible for me to put in my password, and press the buttons required to save, delete and go on to the next voice mail.
