Even without the marketplace on WinMo 6.5, you can still get apps through Handango and other app sites. Of course it would be a lot easier if the carriers upgraded the OS to 6.5. Only AT&T has 6.5 so far, but I am waiting since I hate the lack of headset jack and direct number keys of the AT&T unit.

VZW has their 6.5 release available for the TP2, but there is no VZW site linking to it yet.
