HTC Touch Pro2 (CDMA)
TV out feature on HTC Touch Pro 2, does it work on the Verizon version of this phone
I know Verizon likes to disable stuff at their
will, and I know a cable exists that lets you
output you HTC TP2 over a video cable to your TV.
Has anyone got this to work on a TP2 on Verizon ?
Just wondering so I dont buy this and then find out they disabled it once I manage to find the cable.

It works on my device just fine...then again I have the GSM version. Hooks up and plays videos like a charm. Use it as my DVD player when traveling and in a hotel room. Hope you can get it to work on VZW becasue it's a great feature.

I just got HTC branded TV-Out cables for my
Verizon Touch Pro 2, with the latest
Windows Mobile 6.5 update installed.
I plugged in the cables to a TV, other end into my phone, boom, right away I got a screen on the phone saying "Choose PAL or NTSC" I chose
NTSC and instantly I was looking at a screen with four large icons,
PowerPoint, Photo/Video, Internet, YouTube.
They all worked, I then closed that little
4 icon window and then I was able to see everything on the TV screen that I was seeing on my phones screen. VERY COOL !!!
If you can do it on your phone, you can now do it on a TV or anything with a RCA plug for Video input. It has 3 connectors on it, Yellow-video, Red-Audio right channel, White-Audio left channel.
