I placed my BB Tour order with Sprint early yesterday morning since unlike Verizon you had to order it online or through telesales which was stupid in my opinion but now they saying its backordered already. What gives? 😡

WHAT CRAP! I put the order in at 12:45am on the day it was supposedly released and my order status is BACK ORDER! Come on! That's nonsense!
I have a feeling Sprint just made the release date the same as Verizon, but it won't actually be shipping till the original release date of July 20th!

I too ordered the Tour in the wee hours of Sunday morning and was very disappointed when I saw that it was back ordered. I gave Sprint a call and they assured me that they have a shipment coming in early this week and that my phone will be in my hands as early as WEDNESDAY but no later than FRIDAY. 👿 *crosses fingers*

wow i ordered mines on 7/13/09 and at 3:00 pm in the afternoon and my phone has already shipped got tracking number this morning and i should receive it today it was sent next day air wow that's good service i was expecting the back ordered message after reading some of these post, to my surprise i will get it today!!

maybe sprint is being selective on who should get this phone, maybe you have to meet a certain criteria as far as how long you been with them, and price point , i have the simply everything plan, and 3 lines im guessin...?

I doubt it has anything to do with criteria Sprint needs to keep all the customers they have but this is pathetic my friend has Verizon and went right to the store and got his Tour the same day. We Sprint customers have order the stupid thing online or via telesales then get screwed with a backorder status message the next day.

dont you still have it?..shipment is usually monday so i guess thats why the other guy got it immediatly..because he ordered when new shipment came..
