Where is my friggin phone?

I ordered my Sprint Tour Sunday morning through Telesales and it is still on backorder status. What gives? I wonder can if I can cancel my order and just buy it in the Sprint store? I am so disappointed.

Join the club I'm in the same boat as you. I swear whenver Sprint has something good going on for once, they always find a way the F**K it up. I know about 4 peeps who've jumped ship already I may just make it 5 👿

Sprint screwed up big time on the release of the TOUR!

We can't buy it in the store just yet. But I was looking online at my account and they cancelled my order that i put in online early sunday morning(july 12th) and put the order back in on July 13th. I can not get a clear answer on why sprint did this, but now people that have ordered the phone after me have received their phone already and i am here still waiting!

I really want a new phone and this is the only one i am interested in. I do not want to go to Verizon or ATT or TMobile, but this is some stupid **** SPRINT! 👿

Yea, I called them again this morning and they said I have to be patient and that is it "luck" that others have received theirs and I am still waiting. I ordered the Tour Sunday morning at 7:05 AM along with some other unrelated accessories. I have received all my accessories on Tuesday but the phone still says backordered!
I had to be one of the first on the planet to order this phone and as of Thursday almost Noon it has not shipped yet. I wanted to have it when I went out of town this weekend so unless it comes tomorrow I am screwed. The site is telling me 5-8 days now instead of the 2 business days it had a few days ago. How can this happen????? First come-last served?

SPRINT isn't telling us anything, they dropped the ball when they first put the Tour online and we are all getting screwed we should have been the first to receive the phone and we are not waiting for them to get more stock.

Sprint, maybe you should be offering an extra $50 off the phone for those who ordered really early and are now getting screwed.

I sent a message to sprint via twitter... and online with sprint rep via chat. what else can we do! 😕

I totally agree. Just got off the phone and they said they have no explanation why some have received their phones that ordered after I did but at this point they have no more Tours and Monday is the first day that a another shipment even arrives. We are all probably looking at midweek next week at the soonest for our deliveries. This is totally unfair and poor management. Just when I was speaking up for this company, they kicked me in the head.

i talked to sprint on the phone today and they told me that they are not shipping the phones out until later in the month. and that they wont be available in store until aug. 2nd.

what bs. this sucks. the email they sent out was such a tease and now i just have to sit around and wait for this new phone to come out.

well on the brighter side, i hope they will be able to work out any kinks or bad sides of the phone before the send/sell it to us.

I also attempted to order the Tour today via telesales. They also said they were out of stock and backordered. I was going to switch to Sprint since we don't have verizon in my area. I've pretty irritated already at them and realize that maybe this is not the company that I want to get involved with. If this is just the start of how their service is then I'm undecided. I was going to leave T-mobile and my BB Curve 8900 for the Tour, but they botched that up. Good job Sprint way to blow it!

Originally the phone wasn't supposed to be released at all until August. But then Sprint worked their behind off and was able to get a small amount of Tours available to sell on July 12th, and then another shipment on July 20th. You're still going to get the phone before August. According to the local store the employees have to wait to get the phone. That's putting customers first. There's processing times and based on who got the phone on sprint.com and who got it via telesales is where it issues are coming up. I'm just happy I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for my blackberry service and unlimited airtime!!

A Favor? I hear what your saying and fundamentally we agree and I also agree that making employees wait is a gracious gesture perhpas BUT there is NO EXCUSE for sending phones to someone that ordered them AFTER someone else. I ordered at 7:01 AM Sunday there is no way that many people beat my order. There are already people who have their phone that ordered Monday and Tuesday also. Sprint admitted to canceling my order and putting it back in on Monday. What the @#*!? You know they say money talks. I hope all those people that got their phones already were not credit card sales. Mine was billed to my account and I'm starting to wonder. Anyway you look at it, Sprint is the the last to get a new Blackberry every time. Always L A S T. Sno...

So Sprint admitted to cancelling your order and then putting it back in the system? How come? I haven't gotten an answer my them cancelling my order. I also am having the phone charged to my account and not my CC.

They told me that they accidentally canceled my order than put it back in. WHATEVER! I realized that I charged this to my account and I bet they went with CASH sales first since there is a limited amount. They have to wait 30 days to get their money from us so ah guess what? We're on back order. Your order too huh? I wish somebody out there that is not lying prove I am wrong. Anyway, we don't have any alternative but to wait but you better believe this is MAJOR strike against my loyalty to Sprint. I am going out of town this weekend so I purposely got up at 6:45 AM just to get his done and really wanted to have it for the trip. If the phone shows up my tomorrow, I'll will gladly eat these words.

you are wrong cause my phone was also charged to my account, and i ordered it on monday and received the phone on the 14th i was exspectin the back order message i placed the order at 2:30 pm on monday the 13th when i checked the status at 11pm on monday night the phone had shipped that tuesday on the 14th i got the phone they sent it ups next day air. by the way im in new jersey!!!

Man that was really a low blow to boast about ordering after everyone and getting it before everyone. I billed mine to the account and got screwed I'm with the logic they pushed the cash sales ahead of us early birds. I got up bright and early before the sun to order mine and got played. I am so upset with Sprint its not funny. I am a loyal customer over 10yrs strong and recently have had nothing but drama with them. As many others I was waiting and drooling over the Palm Pre but when that CRAP hit the shelves I was highly disappointed. So I decided to go back to my first love Blackberry. I have been gone way too long and was really excited about the Tour but now that sprint has left this sour taste in my mouth I want to go over to Verizon. ...

im not try n to low blow no one just say n that i got one that was also charged to my account and i been with them also for 10 years. so its not that they are doing cash sales, i have no clue how they are placing the orders all i no is i got my phone the day after i ordered and i live in jersey, maybe its according to where you live or something im 15 minutes from ny in nj..

Praise the Lord! I just checked my order and my Tour is on the way for delivery for Friday! Time will tell but I would love to eat my words when this phone shows up tomorrow.

Yay!! Me too! Hah...4 hours ago I received an email saying that Sprint had issues with their system so orders were being sent out of sequence. BUT I just got an email saying my order has shipped! Can't wait to finally hold that baby in my hand! Lol! 😁

Sprint's service has been excellent. As far as my shipment, everyone makes mistakes. The key is how do you handle the mistake and they took care of it. All you Sprint haters need to stop hating.
