iPhone on Verizon anytime soon?
I love my iPhone but I am not that happy with AT$T. I had heard rumors that Verizon was going to carry the iPhone sometime in the future. Anyone hear any supposed dates?
iPhone with Verizon's reliability is too much to pass up. I will jump ship in a heart beat. The ONLY thing keeping me on AT$T is the iPhone.

Apple will only make GSM models of the iPhone- so Verizon is out of the running till they get a nationwide LTE network up and running

Ya, we've all seen these ads; pretty clever and funny actually. The're all done in jest. Remember, dollars drive everything and both sides (Vz and crApple) realize there is too much money being left on the table for them not to get together sooner or later. crApple has conquered the rest of the world and it will happen with Vz too.

They are already advertising the LTE network and it is being test run in a few major cities already. I also believe that ATT only has exclusivity until 2010

AT&T's exclusive reportedly expires June 2010. Can Verizon have a nationwide LTE network up and running by then? I tend to doubt it.

No. They did not "cripple" the Droid or the Eris. So I think the iphone would be pretty well off.

People are funny lately. I've had more people switch from AT&T than not, and even those who are with VZW who maybe aren't too happy realize ALL that AT&T has to offer is the iPhone. You should have waited to jump ship..we're supposed to have it by 3rd quarter. Good luck with AT&T.
