Phones are locked by the manufactuers for a reason. That reason being that the specifications of their network requires phones that have been manufactured specifically to be compatible with their specific networks. If you are unable to find a website that unloocks phones, your phone will still not work with all features of the Cingualr, system, txt, mms or even data may not be supported because technologically it is a different operating system. I couldn't agree more. The GSM phones are locked for the maufacturer...but thats so you aren't buying a phone thats 400$ for 20$ and then paying the ETF to get out of your contract and go with another provider. Myself and my boyfriend have both used phones that were made for GSM service in the US and we are using those unlocked phones in canada. And as long as you get a rep that knows what they are talking about when doing the settings on your phone, there's no reason you can't use and unlocked phone normally on another provider
