Barrage temporarily pulled from inventory
Apparently the early reports of earpiece issues on the Barrage were part of a widespread problem, and Verizon is now saying they cannot order the phone until the problems are fixed. Hopefully, Motorola gets it right this time and the Barrage is re-released shortly.
Aside from the earpiece, the reviews of the phone seem favorable. If they get the earpiece fixed, this phone is going to be amazing.

I've heard from several sources online that the phone will be re-launched on October 26 online. Hopefully by that time, the earpiece issues will have been fixed. I have high hopes for this phone.

Well, it is now NOvember 3, and I am ready to buy. Where is the Motorola Barrage?

The phone is now available under the Push To Talk tab on VerizonWireless.com. The defective version was Hardware Revision B, and now they are shipping HARDWARE VERSION C which has corrected the speaker issues. Reviews have been very positive of the phone with the new hardware revision.
You can check the phone upon arrival and as long as it says HW Rev. C on the barcode strip under the battery, you're all set
