Motorola Cliq

Going from G1 to CLIQ.. Any advice?

Hello,

I currently have the G1 but am waiting to receive my CLIQ in the mail. I hear it is fairly straight forward as far as setup but I am sure it will take some time.

Does anyone have any advice for making sure I don't lose data?

just make sure to sync your contacts/cal with google then log into the same gmail account on the cliq, other than that you will have to redownload all your apps. Media files are on the SD card

Apps are not on the sd card they are stored on the phone unless your phone is rooted your apps stay on the phone but other than that contact are constantly sync with google gmail contact so when u get ur new device just sign in and vola they are there
