My Thoughts, Good and Bad....
😁 I work at at&t and I own the Samsung Eternity. I absolutely love it!!! The Mythic is a great replacement phone for the Eternity. The only complaint I have would be for Samsung.....How many of the exact same phones will they make for at&t before they get it RIGHT?? Actually, I think they may have almost gotten it perfected. First came the Eternity, great camera, I'm likein the touch screen, expandable memory,Wigits are awesome, great features all around, and to top it all off, I gotta have my FloTV! Then came the Impression, same exact phone with updated Wigits, and they replaced FloTV with a slide out keyboard. Good and bad, some people don't wish to pay more for the FloTV, and it worked. Both reviews are positive and I'm sure this phone will do well. I have owned my Eternity for just over a year and I also love it. My question...is there a compelling reason to dump my Eternity to get the Mythic? Yes it does have a brighter screen, Touchwiz2 and a flash for the camera but I'm not sure that justifies paying $200 for it. Am I missing something here?

I am having the same dilema. I am due for upgrade next month and I currently have the eternity which I LOVE. For being a basic phone the eternity can to a LOT. If you go to walmart connection center and use the computer in the store you can find additional at&t phones. The mythic with them along w/ several other cool AT&T phones are F-R-E-E!

Makes you wonder if there is a catch for getting the phone for free? Wirefly and Letstalk also offer the free Mythic with a 2 year contract extension.

At WalMart, really? Are you sure because I went online and with an upgrade it was like $150. But do you think it would be free with an upgrade if I go into WalMArt? I want the phone but Im not down enough to cough up $150, the same I would pay if I bought it from myself at my store. I change phones way too often and im not that into it to pay for it this time around.

I its 99.99 now after 50 rebate...but I am hoping it will go down a little more maybe 50 after rebate..hoping the will do in in april or may at easter and mothers day...

I like everything about the Mythic, with the exception of no slideout keyboard, I think that's it's only drawback, I like that it has a large screen, MobileTv, 3.5mm headphone jack, microusb charging, but no slideout keyboard, do you think there is any slight chance of Samsung coming out with a phone that is very much like the Mythic with the addition of a slideout keyboard. It would have to include all the things about the Mythic that I do like, MobileTv, 3.5mm headphone jack, and so on.

The only problem with samsung creating a phone with all the features of the mythic and adding an additional, like a sliding qwerty keyboard. Is no one would pay the price it costs to produce them.. I have heard of a few ideas from samsung about that but there is still the price issue.

The solstice was not a upgrade to the eternity at all. it was for a market all of its own. Slimmer. smaller camera meant for customers who like the touch screen but dont need the Flo TV, camera, or anything other then easy text message and a nice mp3 player. The impression is also a different phone with the slide out qwerty keyboard, larger display, same camera "3.2mp" but its got a anti-glare screen. if your in the direct sunlight. unlike the eternity you will still be able to See the screen. the mythic is a direct replacement for the eternity with the customizable main screen, the menu setup with the downloaded apps appearing on the main menu vs in a seperate folder. also mythic brought back Flo TV with Better antenna for reception "I have...
