Motorola Droid
POP Email???
definitely drooling for this phone but this is a must have.
thanks for any insight
the funny thing is that pop email through TWC works on the samsung rogue.
On my Dare, the default is to use the sPOP port, instead of the POP port. most providers today (I'd imagine TWC is in that boat) use sPOP instead of POP.
So you might just have to change the port, where the Rogue may default to the correct one.
This is not a phone issue its a Roadrunner issue. Blackberries work because they have their own smtp servers but in order to use the Roadrunner outgoing (smtp) server you have to be connected to Roadrunners internet service. In theory I suppose it would work if you have roadrunner at home and you connect your phone to your home network via wifi - but this is the only way.
Roadrunner does not allow access to its smtp server via any other network. Incoming (pop) is fine though...
