Instant messaging cost text with 29.99 web plan? few questions as well..
-Since im not on the 29.99 Mobile Web/Email package if i send out an AIM/Windows left message to another person does that count as a standard text message or is it covered in the package?
-Can i send ringtones to the phone and save it in the ringtone section of the device?
-I was told by another friend on the Sprint carrier(HTC Hero) that he was able to run emulators/roms on his phone does verizon allow any customizables like this with this phone?(lol i know right).

Depends on the app you are using, if the app says it uses SMS it is using text. Most IM apps should be using your internet connection though, not using SMS.

It has nothing to do with VZW, is there an app that does it? This is a google phone being made by motor...

As for nokia phones, nokia phones for verizon are made by PCD, and run verizon's OS, they are not "nokia devices"
Nokia/LG/Samsung/whatever phones (not running smartphone OS) use a Verizon operating system. So a nokia Twist has more in common with the EnV3 when it comes to programming than it does with a Nokia found on a GSM carrier.
Sprint and Tmobile have different pricing.
Verizon's plans are more expensive (and their coverage more extensive) for most of their devices across the board.
The cap on data is when you tether the device. they have wording about reserving the right to cap data on the handset to stop people from using something like tetherberry and using their phone's data plan for their computer.
