Motorola Droid
More smoke than substance
There is more smoke being blown in this forum than that on the Verizon ads for the droid. I love how many "experts" there are on the device considering its only been on the market for 24 hours.
Even so, the Droid looks to be pretty cool on the surface. I'll wait a bit for the smoke to clear though and see how well people really like it.
Too bad the droid is only available on Verizon.
Switching to Verizon is like going to the prom with a prostitute; for the price you paid, you're guaranteed to get screwed but you're just not sure if its going to feel good.

going to prom with a prostitute? 🙂 aren't we dramatic? I've been with verizon for 6+ years, and never had anything to complain about. From all I hear from my friends and family who have ATT, ATT customer service is what's really bad.
As for pricing, to me, it seems ATT is as pricey if not more than Verizon.
I am not considering T-mobile and Sprint here as I'd never consider them due to their voice coverage.
