I thought this was 3G

I thought I had a steal with the DROID. Just got off the phone with VZW and they told me that I'm not able to talk and access the web. I can only access the web via the wifi. My questions is I thought this was 3g. iCould do that with the iPhone. What's up VZW

Why post the same thing twice?

It is 3g.

Data/Voice at the same time is not an aspect of 3g, it is an aspect of GSM/WCDMA networks. Verizon is CDMA (EVDO), which currently does not support this.
