Motorola Droid
Droid over HTC Imagio, why does the Droid get all the press?
What am I missing here. I really like the slick design of the Imagio and don't really need the keyboard on the Droid but I'm just curious to know how/if the Droid is so much better.
I'm new to all this so excuse me. I have a very old Palm 650 that has never had data so now I'm finally going to get a phone with a data plan and I'm just doing my research.
1. negative misconceptions about winmo...i personally have fallin back in love with winmo after owning the omnia which made me realize its really the device/hardware that makes ade vice, not so much the os
2. androids marketplace is more developed than winmo's marketplace
3. moto droid has a more customizable home screen desktop...imagio has touch flo 3d whic i personally dont like and it has homescreen themes but none allow u to add ur widgets and shortcuts or a combination of
4. open development
5. moto's impressive hardware looks/feel and materials
in regards to erris...moto is getting more media time cause its a brand new and exclusive device
i personally love the sense ui on the erris and would love to have that ui on the motorola
I like the Imagio personaly but its not that ground breaking for Verizon. I love the fact it supports mobile TV and its our first smart phone to do that but overall its feature set can be found on other devices.
The level of customization isnt the same when you compare the Droid to other phones. You can take everything off the phone screen and start from scratch if you want to. Your also more likely to find free apps on the Blackberry App world and Google Market then on any WinMo supported site (for now anyway).
