I borrowed the I Phone for about two weeks LOVED IT but hated the coverage (rural area)
really want the i phone but can't get anyone to answer if verizon is going to be the co supplier and if so when????
so in frustration........ i have begun looking at different phones
I have been looking at the motorola droid
but in some of the reviews one of the negatives
is "no multi touch screen"
I have asked what exactly this means
and i have rec'd many different answsers
HELP please

Multi-touch is the ability to use more than one finger to interact with the screen. With the iPhone you can "pinch" the web browser to zoom in and push it away with two fingers to zoom out. Some apps and games support this.

As for the Droid I can't give you an answer on multi touch because I don't own one yet. Someone will hopefully comment and clear this up or go to the "learning thread" and tell us there.

Multi touch isn't necessary for the phone to be "acceptable". It's just cool. The Droid seems to be a great device from what I've tried out on it. It's also on Verizon's network meaning you have more 3G coverage and clearer and more reliable voice service.

The reason for the negative comments people say is because it's easi...
