email question on droid
im having a problem with my email in my inbox disappearing before it has been read also i get mail dated days earlier then it shows in my inbox. also got emails dated dec 31 1969

It isn't at all uncommon to get mail that is dated incorrectly. In virtually every case I have seen, it has been spam. One of the tricks spammers use to get their mail to the top of the list is to mess with the date...
As to email disappearing, the only thing I have observed similar to this is that if you get lots of email, it might "bump" older emails off the screen. At the very bottom, there's usually a "get more messages", you could try that. If it's just that, then really your choices are to reduce the incoming mail volume or read your mail sooner.
