VERIZON NETWORK EXTENDED
Has anyone had any experience with this? The reception in my home is not very good. I do get a WIFI connection, but few bars.
Many times incoming calls go directly to voicemail.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes . . . I purchased the extender about 9 months ago. I think they just released a new model for voice and improved data; I have the original.
I does what it says it does. I had terrible reception in my home; needed to talk by a window or outside and even then not good . . . often would lose calls. Bought and installed the device and never had an issue since.
Supports up to 4 phones but we only have use two and any time.
Setup is a pain; the sun, moon, and stars must be aligned. The unit needs to connect to you Verizon modem/router and then you need to sit the extender by a window with view of the sky. Works like a GPS.
Like I said . . . works well.

Verizon's not shutting down towers because of the economy, they are selling off their landlines to focus more on their cellphone towers.
They're spending a LOT of time updating towers, backhaul, and bandwith getting ready for the 4g transition. ym 3g was sporatic for about a week, and now it's back.
But I heard a rumor that they locked your ESN out of using most of their towers, so who knows? 😎
