is the droid completley useless?
yes!! nothing works on the droid at all. how does google still manage to sell crap? because the iphone is still only on atnt. why would motorola come out with the droid x with no keypad and the droid 2 with the same horrible camera? to sell two models of phones.

BTW, you do know that the iphone doesn't have a hard keyboard either, right?
And as to google/verizon/motorola selling lots of the things (and they have; Google is claiming activations in the 100's of thousands per day, between all the various android phones), if they in fact didn't work, and had the sorts of problems you have (or claim to have), they would be selling like the Motorola Devour (ie, basically none at all).
Seriously, a really bad phone's rep will plague it even before it is released.
And as to the allegedly crappy camera, while it isn't the fastest...

OK, now I haven't had my phone very long, but I have never had any real problems with my phone. Yeah I have run into a few snags, but that is because I was doing something wrong or it was the app that I downloaded. It seems like you have had multiple issues with your camera, right? I have yet to have one issue with mine. Now the camera isn't as good as my wife's Incredible, but so what. I have to agree with Menno & Mupi... You have no Earthly clue WTH you are doing with this phone! Why not just Go in and get the Kin Two? I really thing it would be more fitted to your style.
