I have read on many other website that the Droid2 is being sent out as the replacement phone for the Droid. Has anyone had this happen for them?

Mr. Klein, some customers may have received Droid 2's because at the time when they replaced their device, the Motorola Droid was unavailable. However, this has been resolved and the Motorola Droids are available. The customers that received the Droid 2's were experiencing issues around August 24, 2010. I apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

I rereceived a Droid 1 today and called to speak to a supervisor and after explaining the issues I have had with my last two phones, she ordered me a Droid 2. I should have it tomorrow or the next day. Horrah!
