Have a Rooted Droid? Try this Rom/Theme
I am a huge fan of the Cyanogen Team and his CM6 is an outstanding rom if you're currently rooted but haven't made the jump to custom roms yet (Honestly, besides CM, the only roms I ever kept on my phone for extended periods of time were Leaked official builds, and insanelyclean/shadowrom)
But recently, I decided to look into rom themes.
I decided to install the Incognito-Red for CM6. It's amazing. Everything is black and white (using ADW Theme is basically a must with this rom) and super slick.

Hey Menno, what great timing. I'm a fan of your posts since you usually seem to know what you're talking about.
I actually rooted for the very first time today. It was a bit tricky since I had the FRG22D build (stock 2.2) and had never rooted before. But after some frustration and near-brickings, I got it to work.
I installed ROM Manager based on some other things I read, and WOW. What a great program. I'm currently running Liquid Frozen Yogurt v1.6 and I LOVE it. I actually tried install CyanogenMod 6 based on many great reviews I read, but I ran into some issues. It seemed to install correctly, it booted, but it didn't ask me to log into my Google account or restore my apps as had been my experience with other ROMS. Do you kn...

Ok, I withdraw part of my question. I did a bit more research and apparently the CM Dev can't bundle Google Apps with CM, so that's why I wasn't prompted to log into my account, there was no Market App, etc. I'm still trying to figure out how to install the Google Apps package after the CM install.

If you download CM 6 from Rom Manager, it should prompt you to if you want to install Google Apps or not. If you select to download it, it asks you if you want ADW or LauncherPro (You need ADW for the Theme I use) and then it pops up asking if you want Google Apps. Make sure this is Checked, and then your Notification bar should show your downloading CM6 (1 of 2) or something similar.
Make a backup, wipe data and cache, and let it install. (CM6 does the auto restore thing, so you should be fine. But you ALWAYS want to wipe data/cache between roms)
If that works, then you just download the file I linked to above, and go into rom manager, select "Install Rom from SD card" and select that .zip file. Since it's a theme, don't wipe, but...

I just installed UltimateDroid. Seems pretty good so far. Anyone else have any experience with this Rom?

There seems to be a pretty good following for UD, but I have yet to try it out. I personally like Sapphire

Its pretty cool, change boot animation, font, colors, launchers (though ADW seems to be the only one that works) what are the features of saphire? and is it integrated with google?

After you flash the ROM you will have to flash the Gapps file, but it is like that with all source builds.

I am running 1.1.0. I just have been too lazy to update to the most current stable build. There are also many "Unofficial" builds. Only meaning that CVPCS (the creator of the ROM) didn't release it, but one of the guys on the dev team.
