Have a Rooted Droid? Try this Rom/Theme
But recently, I decided to look into rom themes.
I decided to install the Incognito-Red for CM6. It's amazing. Everything is black and white (using ADW Theme is basically a must with this rom) and super slick.

I actually rooted for the very first time today. It was a bit tricky since I had the FRG22D build (stock 2.2) and had never rooted before. But after some frustration and near-brickings, I got it to work.
I installed ROM Manager based on some other things I read, and WOW. What a great program. I'm currently running Liquid Frozen Yogurt v1.6 and I LOVE it. I actually tried install CyanogenMod 6 based on many great reviews I read, but I ran into some issues. It seemed to install correctly, it booted, but it didn't ask me to log into my Google account or restore my apps as had been my experience with other ROMS. Do you kn...

Make a backup, wipe data and cache, and let it install. (CM6 does the auto restore thing, so you should be fine. But you ALWAYS want to wipe data/cache between roms)
If that works, then you just download the file I linked to above, and go into rom manager, select "Install Rom from SD card" and select that .zip file. Since it's a theme, don't wipe, but...

I am running 1.1.0. I just have been too lazy to update to the most current stable build. There are also many "Unofficial" builds. Only meaning that CVPCS (the creator of the ROM) didn't release it, but one of the guys on the dev team.
