Calendar question
For the first time since I got my Blackberry, I'm going to another time zone. What's the best way to schedule my west coast appointments? Should I enter them using my present East Coast time and expect the phone to adjust everything to the network time zone when I get there?

Go to Menu/click on BB options/Date-Time/Time Zone😛acific Time (-😎/Click No for Use Network Time. Your time will be adjusted for the West Coast while your still in another time zone. You can schedule your calender based on those settings.

Don't know where those foolish smiley faces appeared from in my last post

No problem with the smiley faces. Thank you for the response

I have mine set just that way, but last weekend I crossed over to a different time zone where I had set up appointments for the actual times thinking that the phone would adjust only the time on the phone but not the appointments. It changed all my appointments by 1 hour (the difference between my zone and the one I was in). I had to reschedule all my appointments to the correct time in that time zone.

Its obvious the calender/time, clock set functions are contiguous. I would assume you would have to adjust the time frame on the physical device in as much as the reset affects the calender, based on your adjusted time zone input.
The Storm will display variable response as per your setting. It requires some work to allocate the proper designates from your appointments list. Its just one of those things....
