1GHz processor?
An OS all it's own?
LTE?
Whoa... 🤤
This guy knows what he is talking about too. He leaked all the Storm 2 info 😁
I'm shell-shocked with the damage done to my device by the last update (.713), and the need for a replacement, but as a Storm sufferer I have (.713) running on my new Storm2.
One thing for sure, this version is going to be a keeper. No more freaken upgrades,, leaks, drips, etc. etc. I'm tired of all the work necessary to re-set things up....The 3rd party re-DLs, activation codes, themes wiped,...

I am happy with this new direction...I think 😁
I think the decision to wait a while until release is good too. LTE probably wouldn't be in anything released in the next couple of months since Verizon is still in test markets. I can hang on and I will be among the first to get this yet again 🤣
It will be awhile until LTE is presented, and it will give me some time to enjoy and get the most out of the current device.
It is certain that RIM has to "bring up the game" as it pertains to Android & Apple. They cannot rest their laurels on pushed email.... 🙄
One would think this limitation has been addressed by Google with the introduction of the multitude of new units and their marriage to VZW.
Its becoming more and more difficult to maintain a loyalty to BB when taking into consideration that RIM's show is "on the road."
If Android has advanced to handle the AOL client the way BB does, those 4.3" high resol...

OK, probably no LTE with those specs, but it may possibly do until that time 😁

Dual-core processors+LTE make these numbers nothing more than a refresh. If you analyze the specs, and they become reality, why a 1230 mah battery with a higher resolution screen? Thats less power than my 9550 has now! And 512MB Ram is old hat. Even the 5Mpx camera without front facing feature is running behind handsets released or about to be.
The largest problem is how far RIM is running behind the 8-ball. By the time this device is released, LTE will bury it. CDMA 3G will be a dinosaur. 🙄
Its interesting, that apple is withholding these on the iphone for the moment. Yea, I agree it's a refresh and I hope that the new processor is just a little less power hungry than the one before it.
I like my 9550 but I want something more 🤤
Battery power is an issue, though. Other than the re-boot time annoyance, I swap 1 of 3 spare batteries and always have a properly powered device during the day. The non-changeable built-in battery in the Iphone is an absolute game breaker for me. Can't see walking around with tethered devices attached to the handset. I would find that to be a major inconvenience.
There is enough flexibility and function in the 9550 as it was designed, if properly outfitted for your needs, to be more than satisfactory at present.
The "more" you mention in your post I assume, would be composed of a great deal "more" than the improved numbers of the refre...
