HTC Droid Eris
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME SO I DONT HAVE TO RETURN MY ERIS
Ok. So far, Im in love with my Droid Eris... but Im having an issue with the facebook app... has anyone used it? ITS ALMOST ENOUGH TO MAKE ME RETURN IT... im so depressed... The icon only brings up the newsfeed... no menu options... no way to look at your notifications or friends... no option for composing a message... I cant find a different app... is anyone else having this issue, or know a way around it?! PLease

I know how you feel! I love my eris too but some things im still figuring out ok so to get to a apge that you can acceess your stuff i touched menu and went to my wall then i touched and held down where my profile pic is above my wall and once i let go it goes to my info then i touched again where my name and pic are and it took me to a page that has the usual tabs on the top! i hoped this helped 😁

The only thing that does it open the browser up with the Facebook page displaying the correct tabs. I have had this problem also with the Facebook application, but I think the last comment was as close as you can get to the real thing. Just accessing it from the browser is the best there is.

Im using the mytouch and the face book app from the market does leave some great features out that would make it even better (i.e. facebook app/panel for xperia x-1) so ya you have to connect to the actual website to really get anything done outside of the recent status updates of your friends

The lack of a friend link can be annoying but if you can find a friend in the news feed you can click and hold there name and you can write on there wall. As far as notifications i linked my email updates with my gmail so when i get a new email from facebook i go check the app. Im sure we will see updates soon for the app but as of right now thats my work around.
