several questions about eris
I have a few questions about the droid eris with Verizon. I have been a Verizon customer for many years. I have never owned a smart phone and have been using an LG VX-8700 for several years. I am 53 years old and really am not interested in games and other such stuff. I am thinking of getting an Eris, though. I will be buying one from an individual, not from Verizon, because I don't do contracts anymore. I played with an Eris in the Verizon store a few days ago, and and with my limited knowledge of these smartphones, the Eris seemed nice and easy to use. I have had the eris for several weeks now and so far here are my impressions on what you've asked.

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, your thoughts will help me in my decision, as well as going back to the store and playing with it a bit more.

I wear my phones on my belt/waistband in a small clip on pouch made by Ripoffs....ripoffs.com. I have used these pouches for 20 years, with several different phones and never had a problem feeling the phones vibrate when receiving a call. I am so disappointed that the Eris has such a weak vibrate mode. How in the hell can they make such a technologically great phone, and not put a str...

are you still paying AOL just for email ???
Keep your screen names and go to the free webbased AOL
After they hosed everyone and deleted their webpages overnight, didn't seem to be a reason to stay
