Delayed key beeps?
I'm thinking of purchasing the V600 or V300. I had heard that there is a slight delay of the beep sound after pressing the keys. That the beep does not occur at the exact same moment you press the key. Is this correct?
This annoys the heck out of me when I'm inputting voice mail codes and such.

I have noticed this while on speakerphone only and it is quite annoying.

yeah, it drives me nuts when trying to key in long voice mail codes and stuff...doesn't happen on without speakerphone though?
...
no, only w/speakerphone to my knowledge.

Yes it does with speakerphone but to solve that problem you can do 1 of 2 things:
Permanent solution: In Ringer Style detail, change Key Volume to 0.
Temp (per call solution): Change your phone to silent. Make your call and change the ringer style back to where you had it.

Hmm, anyone know if the V180 does this also?
Maybe it's some characteristic of speaker phones in general, because my cordless phone at home does this also.

Actually it doesn't have to do with speakerphones and such. Most likely phones that do that have their DTMF tones set to long.
To change this, all you have to do is go to following:
Press Menu, select Settings, select Initial Setup, then select DTMF. From there what you want to do is check to see if what it's been set to. There are three options: short, long, off. Make sure that it is set on short. If it's initially on long, that's probably the source of the issue right there.
