does anyone know where you can get free polyphonic ringtones? i have found a few spots for them but would like to get more, i have the motorola v600 piece of sh!t, i got this v600 for $400 when it first came out and it was the worst purchase i have ever made, and i will NEVER EVER buy another motorola phone, but enough venting.. anyone know where i can get some free ringtones or games?!?! thanks! 🙂

mp3 ringtones are much better on the v600 and you can make you own with a little effort and maybe a slight cost. Once you do, you will never want another poly.

horrible phone, i have had 2 so far, i am very very careful with my phones since i always buy very expensive ones, but the reason i dont like this phone is because it has had problems, not only my first one but even the one they sent me to replace it, they would be on "loud" ring and it would be a "soft" it would then be on soft and wouldnt ring at all, it would be on vibrate and it would ring loud, then after a little bit it wouldnt do anything other then vibrate, then when i was on one call and i would get another one and switch the call waiting when i would try to retain my first call the phones freeze and i have to completely take the battery out for it to shut down, then i would get text messages and instead of my "text tone" it would r...

Sounds pretty rough, I have not had any issues like that at all. My wife has one also that is trouble free.

Hey I have the same POS!! Only mine has a whole different list of problems! Where do you want me to begin. It shorts out, flashes on and off, cuts poeple off,and it doesn't stay compleatly shut so the inner light comes on and kills my battery to quick. I also keep a rubber band around it for now so the outter display stays on. I can't have it answer when it's opened I have to push a key to answer because it cuts people off and now it just cuts them off no matter what. I really like the features it has but for as much money as you pay for the stupid thing it is so not worth it. Is there any other phones besides the ericson that is comparable

is has to do w/ reception, satelite reception has to be more precise them towers (like Verizon Wireless). all cell phone work off of satelites but some work from the tower to the satelites like Verizon. there are what 7 settings for sound, plus loud, soft, ring n vibrate n vibrate on the phone. loud's not going to be loud if u hav it one Volume 1 or 3. u can sell this, no matter the problems. another thing, each time u switch between the type, not the volume # u can hav three ring tones for incoming calls. i don't kno if u read the manual. all phones hav "bugs" a little unstable part of a program that makes it run iregular then it was intended to. i'd say once maybe every two weeks my phone wuld say no service, unregisterd SIM (i got at&...

I've used www.3gupload.com a lot. Ten dollars and you get unlimited downloads of pics and ringtones/sound content. Most of them are midi though...some mp3...I know you're supposed to be able to rip mp3's using mobile phone tools and the bluetooth dongle, but I could never get it to work...then the thing quit working all together. I'm just waiting for moto to come out with their new dongle.
