Software upgrades, bugs, exchanges. AT&T v600
Lots of people have been asking about a software upgrade for the v600 to remedy issues similar to the following.
1) Call fail error and successive retry fail error
2) Erratic signal strength
3) Can't end calls
4) When making a call it says the phone number you just dialed is disconnected or incorrect
5) Dropped calls
Since I could find very little or no information about this online I decided to call AT&T tech support. I explained each issue carefully. For those of you wondering about a software upgrade, it was never mentioned as a possible solution. However they did offer to exchange my phone even though I have had it for a few months. For a one time fee of $15 they are going to ship a new phone and have me return the old...
