Any Cliq users have root access yet?
I need to figure out whether I'm going with this or the new myTouch 1.2... (I have a rooted G1 now, and not only is the battery life terrible, but it's big, and lacks headphone jack... but otherwise awesome) issue is that if I can't root this phone, it's a NO-GO for sure. Anyone able to root this thing? Also, can anyone give me a comparison of the battery life between this an G1?
I just want to make the right move when I go to the store and get stuck for another 2 years.
Thanks for any help with this.

where are digital photos stored? File manager can't find them.
I've taken several photos with my cliq xt, and file manager can't find them. I thought they would be stored in internal memory, but I'm finding several stored on my memory card. Where are the photos stored???

Exchange
Just got one today. Was going to wait for the HTC H2 but man that thing is big. I just can't imagine carrying it around everyday.
I use the phone for business and exchange functionality is important to me. I have tried the MyTouch and the Behold 2 and this phone by far has the best exchange integration. However, I noticed their is no push sync. Best is you can do is check every 15 minutes. This was probably done to save battery life. The Behold 2 actually syncs constantly and this exhausted the battery in about two hours forcing you to buy Touchdown.

Not Very Good First Impressions
I was well within my buyers remorse period of my MyTouch 3G. I went yesterday to purchase a Cliq XT. They did the exchange for me. I hadn't even left the parking lot of the mall and the phone literally became possessed. The screen was slide-twitching from side to side and acting like there were several screen selections going on. I tried pulling the battery and rebooting but, that did not help. I went back to T-Mobile and they seen it and swapped it for another one. This one seems to have a speaker issue where you here a faint pop after the speaker turns off or deactivates. The screen itself acted funny a couple times but wasn't steady. So I'm thinking I will be taking this one back too.

Missed two big things
How could you miss multitouch and flash? The browser supports both multitouch and Flash Lite. And the photos also support pinch zoom as well.
