Is it a "Touch" screen or is it heat sensitive like the iphone?

I have used several "touch" screen phones but none seem to even compare to be as easy to use as the iphones heat sensitive touch screen. So I ask how is the touch screen on this phone? It it closer to the iphone or to something like the one's samsung has been releasing?

You're refering to a capacitive screen and yes this has one.

The short answer is that it's more like the iPhone.

The kind of touch sensor the iPhone has is called capacitive. It responds the electrical properties of your finger (not heat.) It's generally considered the better kind. Most people find it more reliable. It responds to the lightest touch; it requires no actual pressure.

The other kind is called resistive. It responds only to actual pressure. They can be tricky to get used to, especially if you're used to capacitive, although once you get used to applying the right amount of pressure, they do become easier to use than at first.

Both types have good and bad implementations. I've used some very good resistive touch screens that felt almost like capacitive. I've also used terrible cap...

How do you rate the T-Mobile Touch Pro 2's resistive screen in terms of usability, and ease?

I think it depends, after using a capacitive touch screen on the iphone and the magic, the TP2 doesn't seem so good or responsive. It also could be a getusta thing.
