How to change the number of rings before going to voicemail?

I just got my LG VX600 through Verizon and I noticed that when I receive a call the phone rings 6 times before it sends the caller to voicemail. I would prefer if it rang only 4 times and then went to voicemail. I've looked through the settings and in the manual, but can't find a way to change this. Does anyone know if this setting can be changed? Thanks in advance.

you need to call vzw cust serv and see if it is possible to adjust that in your area. 4-6 rings or up to 30 seconds is standard over the network but there are areas where vzw can still adjust # of rings.
