VX 6000 Speaker Phone
I have heard rumors that this phone has speaker phone capabilities but it is disabled in programming somehow. Does anyone know how to enable the speaker phone or are these just rumors that I am hearing?

This rumor is in fact true I just recently activated the speaker on my vx6000 after having it for over a year its not an easy thing to do but if you want I can give you the steps to activate it.

Good News: Thanks to Praedon On HoFo, everyone with the new Firmware can enable the speakerphone. Check it out at HoFo.

It requires a little bit of initial setup which can be a little bit of a
pain. Basically you need to make sure you have a voice ringer on your
phone. The easiest way to produce one of these is to go into the Voice
Memo feature, record a quick memo (can be silence if you like)...
[Send & Cancel a Pix Msg:
back to top, left soft key (for Menu), "1" (for Camera), "3" (to send Pix Msg)
