LG VX-6000
broken frozen not useable HELP
I bought my new Vx6000 in December. On day 3 I was playing around with forwarding a news text message. I tried sending it to 4 people, the phone froze and would not shut down, or respopnd to closing clam shell, or even removing battery and replacing it. I tried for over 2 hours trying to get it going. I left it without the battery overnight and the next morning it worked with no problems. The same thing happened 1 week later. Since that time I have had no problems. UNTIL yesterday when I tried forwarding to 3 people. Same thing no response, remove battery, press ON and the screen lights up white with Verizon logo then in 15 minutes fades to black and no response.
Has anyone had this problem? Anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?

i have had my 6000 "freeze up" twice in the past month.....not as bad as yours though. once when trying to preview a wallpaper from midi-ringtones.....and yesterday when i was viewing a wallpaper that i had downloaded to my phone. the phone display will freeze and i have to remove the battery and restart the phone it will work immediately thereafter. kind of anoying....but happens VERY rarely....so i can deal.....
