Phone Unlock Code (Not the Security Code)

Does anyone know the unlock code so my vx6000 can be unlocked to be used on another carrier? And then, how to utilize that code to unlock the phone? I brother wants my phone (I upgraded) but he's in a contract w/ another carrier. Can anyone help?

The unlock code is the last four digits of your phone number, but i don't think that you are looking for the unlock code.

You may find what you're looking for in this service menu...

first press...

MENU

then press seven zeros...

0000000

...
